The reported findings score starts at 100 and subtracts 35 for each critical finding, 20 for high, 9 for medium, and 3 for low, with a floor of 0. It is shown only for complete, current reviews with all finding details. A score of 100 means no findings were reported in the reviewed source.

Severity describes potential impact, not the probability of harm. Review the conditions and evidence for each finding. A scan is not a safety guarantee.

SKILL QUALITY

Limited evidence for a verdict

40/100Provisional source score

This deprecated alias clearly directs an agent to deepline-scoring and provides lookup paths and a rename notice. Its usefulness depends on an unavailable target skill, so the supplied source cannot establish completion of the actual scoring request.

low confidenceStatic reviewInstruction skill

The reviewer had limited evidence. These scores describe what was available, not a verified measure of reliability.

What works well

  • Names the replacement skill explicitly.
  • Provides ordered fallback locations and a concise user notification.

Before you rely on it

  • Supply the referenced deepline-scoring entrypoint for review.
  • Define recovery when the replacement skill cannot be loaded.
  • Add observable checks for successful handoff and clarify whether CLI setup is required before delegation.
Clear instructionsCan your agent understand the task and expected outcome?3/4

The alias task and notification are clear, but the Quick Start leaves uncertainty about whether setup precedes the handoff.

EVIDENCE
SKILL.md: "Load the `deepline-scoring` skill and follow it for this request."

To improve: State whether the Quick Start is mandatory, optional, or delegated to the replacement skill.

Complete workflowAre prerequisites, failure cases, and recovery covered?2/4

Provides named loading and ordered filesystem fallbacks, but no recovery if all locations fail or authentication times out.

EVIDENCE
SKILL.md: "Otherwise read the entrypoint directly, trying these roots in order and using the first that exists:"

To improve: Check for a readable SKILL.md rather than only a directory, and specify missing-target and authentication-failure handling.

Repeatable resultsAre examples and dependencies specific enough to repeat the work?2/4

Concrete commands and lookup paths support repeatable attempts, but target availability and CLI compatibility are unspecified.

EVIDENCE
SKILL.md: "npm install -g deepline"; "deepline auth wait --timeout 120"

To improve: Document the compatible CLI requirement if setup is necessary and how the replacement skill is obtained.

Checkable outcomesCan you tell whether the task succeeded?1/4

Includes an authentication status command and an observable rename notice, but no expected status output or handoff acceptance criteria.

EVIDENCE
SKILL.md: "deepline auth status"; "Then tell the user once, in a single line, that `/niche-signal-discovery` is now `/deepline-scoring`"

To improve: Define successful loading and handoff checks, plus expected authentication status if required.

Supporting filesDo the supplied scripts and references support the workflow?0/4

The replacement entrypoint is essential supporting material, but its coherence with the alias cannot be assessed. The score reflects absent supplied evidence, not a finding that the target does not exist.

EVIDENCE
SKILL.md: "Do not answer from this file; it contains no instructions of its own." No deepline-scoring source was supplied.

To improve: Include the replacement SKILL.md and its referenced resources in the assessment bundle.

Review scope & scoring

Scores describe source evidence: 0 absent or contradicted, 1 weak, 2 incomplete, 3 solid, 4 strong. Supporting files are excluded when not applicable. Instruction skills can demonstrate quality through examples and checkable outcomes without executable tests.

Review limitations

  • Coverage is skill-only; the replacement skill and other supporting files were not supplied.
  • This was a static review; no commands were executed and no runtime behavior was verified.

This review does not execute the skill or verify runtime results. Install counts and publisher reputation do not increase the score.

Original instructions from the publisher’s SKILL.md

# niche-signal-discovery (renamed to deepline-scoring)

## Quick Start

```bash
npm install -g deepline
# Fallback for secure sandboxes: mkdir -p "$HOME/.local" && npm config set prefix "$HOME/.local" && export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH" && npm install -g deepline --registry https://code.deepline.com/api/v2/npm/
deepline auth register --wait auto
deepline auth wait --timeout 120 # completes Cowork/browser approval; no-op if already connected
deepline auth status
deepline -h
```

This skill was renamed. `niche-signal-discovery` is a temporary alias kept so existing prompts, scripts, and saved commands keep working. It will be removed.

## What to do

Load the `deepline-scoring` skill and follow it for this request. Do not answer from this file; it contains no instructions of its own.

If the skill loader supports names, invoke `deepline-scoring`. Otherwise read the entrypoint directly, trying these roots in order and using the first that exists:

```bash
for candidate in \
  "$PWD/.skills/deepline-scoring" \
  "$HOME/.claude/skills/deepline-scoring" \
  "$HOME/.agents/skills/deepline-scoring"; do
  [ -d "$candidate" ] && { echo "$candidate/SKILL.md"; break; }
done
```

Then tell the user once, in a single line, that `/niche-signal-discovery` is now `/deepline-scoring`, and continue with the actual request.
